Report: Payroll

The payroll report contains the payroll totals of all your clients' employees for the current or previous tax year. This allows you to check that the correct payroll amounts have been run for all your clients.

1 From the Practice Dashboard, navigate to the ‘Reports’ tab


2 Select ‘Payroll’


3 Choose the current or previous tax period and select ‘Generate Report’


4 Now wait a moment while FreeAgent generates your report...


And that’s it!

Your report download will appear in your browser as a CSV file. You can open this file in your preferred spreadsheet software.


Report Format

The payroll report will show all of your clients' employees, enabling you to see the totals for their pay, tax, NI etc. for the years you selected. The totals shown will include migration figures that have been entered in the employee’s payroll profile.
