How to switch from an Apple subscription to a FreeAgent subscription
This article explains how to switch from an Apple subscription (a FreeAgent subscription that you created via the Apple App Store) to a direct FreeAgent subscription.
To enable you to benefit from a subsidised account via NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank NI or Mettle, your FreeAgent account will initially need to be removed from Apple and over to a direct Free Trial.
1. Cancel the auto-renewal of your Apple subscription
Begin by logging in to the FreeAgent mobile app using either your FreeAgent login details or Touch ID/Face ID. Select 'Settings' and then 'Subscription'. Next, tap 'Manage Subscriptions' and follow the steps for cancelling the automatic renewal of your Apple subscription.
2. Allow your Apple subscription to expire
Your Apple subscription will need to run to the end of the billing period and expire before you can switch your subscription over to FreeAgent. If you’re unsure when your Apple subscription will expire, open the FreeAgent mobile app, navigate to 'Settings' and then 'Subscription'. Next, tap 'Manage Subscriptions' and you can view the status of your Apple subscription.
3. Contact FreeAgent’s support team
Once your Apple subscription has expired, contact our support team and we will then switch your account over to a FreeAgent subscription.
