In order to access the FreeAgent mobile app’s most up-to-date features and functionality, you need to ensure that you’re running the most recent version of the app. This article explains how to update the FreeAgent mobile app either automatically or manually on iOS and Android devices.
Please note that if something doesn’t look quite right in the FreeAgent mobile app or it isn’t running as you’d expect, updating the app is likely to resolve the issue.
Updating the FreeAgent mobile app automatically
If you want to ensure that you always run the latest version of the FreeAgent mobile app, you should enable automatic updates on your device.
Select the toggle to the right-hand side of ‘App Updates’ to enable automatic updates. Please note that this will apply to all apps on your iOS device.
If you haven’t done so already, download the FreeAgent mobile app and navigate to the Google Play Store app on your device. Tap the three-lined 'hamburger' icon in the top-left corner and select ‘Settings’.
Next, select ‘Auto-update apps’.
A pop-up window will appear with some additional options. Select the appropriate one and tap ‘Done’.
Updating the FreeAgent mobile app manually
Navigate to the App Store on your iOS device and select ‘Today’ at the bottom-left of the screen.
Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner to access the ‘Account’ area.
Scroll down to ‘Available Updates’ and select ‘Update’ next to the FreeAgent mobile app icon.
Alternatively, select ‘Update All’ at the top of the list to update all of the outdated apps on your device to their latest version.
Navigate to the Google Play Store app on your device, tap the three-lined 'hamburger' icon in the top-left corner and select ‘My apps and games’.
Scroll down to ‘Updates pending’ and select ‘Update’ next to the FreeAgent mobile app icon.
Alternatively, you can select ‘Update all’ at the top of the list to update all of the outdated apps on your device to their latest version.
