How to view drawings taken out of the business

This article explains how to view a breakdown of bank transactions that have been explained as ‘Drawings’ during a specific time period.

Navigate to the ‘Accounting’ tab at the top of the screen and select ‘Reports’ from the drop-down menu.

Select ‘Show Transactions’ from the ‘Detailed’ section.

Select the relevant time period and then ‘901 - [X] Capital Account: [X]’ from the drop-down menus.

Transactions paid out of the business to a sole trader or partner will be displayed as debit entries in the capital account.
