How to transfer your FreeAgent account to your accountant’s Practice Dashboard
This article explains how to transfer your FreeAgent account to your accountant’s Practice Dashboard if you work with an accountant who is a FreeAgent partner.
The Practice Dashboard is a tool that allows FreeAgent partner accountants to view and manage their clients’ FreeAgent accounts. If you transfer your account to an accountant’s Practice Dashboard, they will gain full access to it and will be responsible for managing your FreeAgent subscription. You’ll still be able to log in to your FreeAgent account as normal.
Please note that only the FreeAgent account owner can confirm the transfer of a FreeAgent account to a Practice Dashboard.
If you work with an accountant who is a FreeAgent partner and would like your FreeAgent account to be transferred to their Practice Dashboard, please contact your accountant so that they can initiate the transfer by following these steps.
You’ll need to provide your accountant with the email address that you use to log in to your FreeAgent account, along with your FreeAgent subdomain, in order for them to begin the process.
Once your accountant has initiated the transfer, you’ll receive an email asking you to log in to your FreeAgent account and confirm the transfer.
