Edit a CoPilot package proposal
This article explains how to make changes to a CoPilot package proposal for a client within FreeAgent.
CoPilot is a tool that allows your practice to connect with and manage clients all in one place. The service has been designed to give a seamless experience for you and your clients from initial contact, through onboarding with your practice and the ongoing delivery of the CoPilot service.
As a CoPilot accountant, your practice will be visible to all qualifying FreeAgent customers who are interested in CoPilot, giving your business a real opportunity to grow. When a prospective client sends an enquiry, you’ll be notified via your Practice Dashboard and via email.
You can make changes to an existing package proposal that you’ve sent to a prospective client or edit a package proposal for an existing CoPilot client.
Edit a package proposal for a prospective client
To make changes to an existing package proposal that you’ve sent to a prospective client, go to the Clients area and select the ‘My CoPilot leads’ tab.
Select the client’s name from the list.
Next, select the ‘Package’ tab.
You’ll see details of the current proposal that you sent to them. To make changes, select ‘Edit package proposal’.
Make any required changes and select ‘Send package proposal’ to send the updated proposal to the prospective client. Read more about creating a CoPilot package proposal.
The prospective client will then review the proposal and decide whether to sign up to CoPilot. Read more about working with clients using CoPilot.
Edit an existing CoPilot client's pricing package
To make changes to an existing CoPilot client's pricing package, select the client's name from the Clients area of your Practice Dashboard.
Select 'Create new package proposal'.
Create the new package proposal for the client and select 'Send package update'.
Select 'Confirm and send' in the pop-up window to send the new package to the client.
The client will then review the new package and accept the proposal if they're happy with it.
If they accept, you'll see details of the new CoPilot package, which will take effect from the beginning of their next billing period, above their existing package.
