Connect FreeAgent to Equali
This article explains how to connect FreeAgent with Equali to automate your e-commerce bookkeeping.
Equali currently supports the Shopify and Amazon marketplaces, with eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop, Facebook/Instagram and more are coming in 2026. FreeAgent customers get a 20% discount off every Equali annual and monthly subscription plan.

Connect FreeAgent with Equali
Navigate to the drop-down menu at the top-right of the screen and select ‘Connections & Add-ons’.
Select 'Get started' in the 'Equali' section.
Select 'Connect to Equali'.
You’ll then be taken to Equali’s website to complete the connection by following these steps:
- If you’re a Shopify merchant, click the ‘Shopify Merchants: Start a 14-day Free Trial’ button to be taken to the Shopify App Store. If you’re not a Shopify merchant, click the ‘Start a 14-day Free Trial’ button.
- Select your subscription plan and start your free trial. If you’re in the Shopify App Store, install the Equali app to your first Shopify store’s account.
- On the Equali dashboard, go to the ‘Integrations’ page and click the ‘FreeAgent’ button to connect to your FreeAgent account.
- Whilst on the ‘Integrations’ page, connect to your other data sources, including other e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and payment providers.

Disconnect from Equali
Navigate to the drop-down menu at the top-right of the screen and select ‘Connections & Add-ons’.
Select 'Manage' in the 'Equali' section.
Select ‘Revoke access’.
Select ‘Yes, revoke access’ in the pop-up window to complete the process.
