This article shows you how to re-consent your Open Banking bank feed on the FreeAgent mobile app.

These steps apply to both the iOS and Android versions of the FreeAgent mobile app. You can also re-consent your Open Banking bank feed on desktop.

When it gets close to the 90-day time-out, we'll put a notice in your Banking area. Tap this notice and the re-consent process will begin. Alternatively, you can complete the re-consent by following these steps.

1. Open the 'Settings' menu and select 'Bank Connections'

Tap the three-lined 'hamburger' icon at the top-left of screen to open your 'Settings' menu. Select 'Bank Connections'.

2. Choose a bank feed

Select the bank feed you'd like to re-consent and tap 'Update connection'.

3. Review the connection details

Check over the connection details and select 'Connect to my bank' when you're ready. You’ll then be redirected to your bank's online banking portal, where you’ll have the option to re-consent all of your feeds at once.

4. Complete the re-consent

Once you've been redirected to your bank's online banking portal, you can complete the re-consent. This process may differ from bank to bank, so please follow the prompts given to you by your bank to complete the setup. Once the re-consent is complete, you’ll be taken back to your FreeAgent account.
