Change which email address invoice and estimate emails are sent from

This article explains how to send invoice and estimate emails from a different email address in FreeAgent.

1. Verify the new email address

First, you’ll need to add the new email address as a sender email address in FreeAgent.

The owner of the address will then receive an email from FreeAgent asking them to verify the email address. Once they’ve followed the link within the email to verify the email address, the status will show as ‘Verified’.

2. Change the email address that emails are sent from in the email template

Once the new email address is verified, select 'Settings' from the drop-down menu in the top-right corner and then select 'Email Templates'.

Select the first email template you would like to update.

Select the new email address from the ‘From’ drop-down menu and select ‘Save X Template’ at the bottom of the screen to complete the process.

Repeat this step for each template you’d like to send from the new email address.
