Hide a Tracking Group
This article explains how to hide a Tracking Group in FreeAgent. It also explains how to restore a hidden Tracking Group.
Please note:
- A hidden Tracking Group and the labels within it will not be able to be attached to out-of-pocket expenses and bank transaction explanations.
- A hidden tracking group will still show on all related reporting.
- You need level 7 access or above to your FreeAgent account to hide a Tracking Group.
- You can only hide Tracking Groups on the desktop version of FreeAgent.
Navigate to the ‘Accounting’ tab and select ‘Tracking Groups’ from the drop-down menu.
Select the relevant Tracking Group from the list.
To hide specific labels but not the Tracking Group itself, select the ‘Hide’ button next to the relevant label.
Select ‘Yes, hide label’ in the pop-up window.
To hide the whole Tracking Group, select ‘Hide Tracking Group’ in the top-right.
Alternatively, select the ‘Hide’ button to the right of the Tracking Group in the list of existing Tracking Groups.
Select 'Yes, hide group' in the pop-up window to complete the process.
How to restore a hidden Tracking Group
To restore a Tracking Group that you’ve hidden previously, select ‘Restore’ to the right of the Tracking Group.
Select ‘Yes, restore group’ in the pop-up window to complete the process.
