Review and edit explanations for manually uploaded bank transactions

This article explains how to review bank transactions if you've asked FreeAgent to 'guess' transaction explanations when uploading a bank statement.

We recommend that you review each explanation guessed by FreeAgent to ensure its accuracy.

Reviewing your imported transactions

Guessed transactions will show as explained in FreeAgent.

Navigate to the 'Banking' tab at the top of the screen and select 'Bank Accounts' from the drop-down menu.

Choose the relevant bank account from the list of accounts.

Filter using the 'Latest Statement Upload' option. You can then select and view each individual transaction.

Make any necessary adjustments, and 'Save Changes'.
