Delete a timeslip on mobile
This article explains how to use the FreeAgent mobile app to delete an existing timeslip in FreeAgent.
Please note:
- If you need to delete a timeslip that has been added to an invoice (a padlock symbol will be displayed against these timeslips), you’ll need to remove the timeslip from the invoice before you can delete it.
- Any changes you make using the FreeAgent mobile app will be reflected in the desktop version of FreeAgent.

How to delete a timeslip
Tap the three-lined 'hamburger' icon at the top-left of the FreeAgent mobile app and select ‘Timeslips’.
Select ‘Timeslips’.
You can choose to view all of your timeslips or by week.
Select the timeslip that you’d like to delete.
Select ‘Delete’ in the top-right.
Select ‘Delete’ to complete the process.
How to delete a locked timeslip
FreeAgent locks timeslips once they are added to an invoice, even if the invoice is in 'Draft' status. A padlock symbol will be displayed alongside these timeslips.
To delete a locked timeslip, you'll need to edit the invoice and delete the time from the invoice.
To do this, navigate to the relevant invoice, select the three dots in the top-right and select 'Mark as draft' from the menu.
Next, delete the time from the invoice by tapping the relevant invoice item and selecting ‘Delete’ in the top-right.
This will unlock the timeslip and allow you to delete it.
