Tracking Groups report

This article explains how to access and filter the Tracking Groups report in FreeAgent.

The Tracking Group report shows you a Profit and Loss (P&L) for each of the Tracking Groups and their labels, giving you the ability to see how different areas of a business such as departments, cost centres or locations are performing.

Navigate to the Tracking Groups report

Navigate to the 'Accounting' tab at the top of the screen and select 'Reports' from the drop-down menu.

Select ‘Tracking Groups Summary’ from the ‘Breakdown’ section.

Filter the Tracking Groups report

Select which Tracking Group you want to view from the ‘Tracking group’ drop-down menu.

Then, select which date range you want to view from the ‘Date range’ drop-down menu. You can choose between the current accounting year so far or a specific accounting year.

Once you’ve chosen the filters, select ‘Apply’.

A report will be generated of the relevant Tracking Group for the chosen time period.
