Change the bank details displayed on your invoices
This article explains how to change the bank details that appear on an invoice that you’ve created in FreeAgent.
You can also change the theme of the invoice and edit the invoice details or line items on the invoice.
Your bank details
You can update your invoice bank details from within the Banking area.
Navigate to the 'Banking' tab at the top of the screen and select 'Bank Accounts' from the drop-down menu.
Choose the bank account that you want to include on your invoices and select 'Edit details' in the top-right. Find out more about how to edit a bank account.
Under ‘Optional details’, check that the details reflect what you want to show on your invoices and that the ‘Show these details on Invoices’ checkbox has been ticked.
Select 'Save changes' at the bottom of the screen.
If you only have one bank account in FreeAgent, any updates you made will now appear on new invoices or existing invoices currently in Draft status. You can also add a new bank account.
Change the bank details on an invoice
If you have more than one bank account, you can choose which to show on your invoices by default.
When creating or editing an invoice, open the ‘More options’ section and choose which bank details you want to appear on the invoice using the ‘Bank Account’ drop-down menu.
Finish creating or editing your invoice and you should see your selected bank account details on the invoice.
If you would like future invoices to display one of your bank accounts by default, you would need to set it as your primary bank account in FreeAgent.
