Record WooCommerce transactions
This article explains how to manage WooCommerce transactions in FreeAgent.
Please note that FreeAgent doesn't have native functionality to integrate with WooCommerce. However, you can either use a paid third-party integration or manually record your WooCommerce transactions in FreeAgent.
Option 1: paid third-party integration
The integration would allow you to save time by synchronising invoicing information between WooCommerce and FreeAgent.
You can read more on this integration on the WooCommerce marketplace and read further documentation on how the installation process, and usage of the integration, works in practice.
Please note that the integration is not something that FreeAgent can provide direct support on at present, as it is a third-party called 'The team at PIE' who have developed this. You can contact them here if you wish.
Option 2: manually record WooCommerce transactions
Alternatively, you can manually record any income that you generate from your WooCommerce store in FreeAgent.
Any income that is sent from WooCommerce to your bank account can be reflected in FreeAgent by either enabling a bank feed or uploading a bank statement.
You can then explain the income directly against a sales category, or an invoice if you create these in FreeAgent.
WooCommerce (or another checkout payment processor) may take a fee from the payments they send to your bank. If this is the case then you can split the transaction to take care of the fee.
