What do I need in order to use the FreeAgent mobile app?
This article outlines everything you need in order to use the FreeAgent mobile app on an iOS or Android device.
FreeAgent mobile app for iOS
To use the FreeAgent mobile app on an iOS device you need to have:
- an iPhone (iPhone 6 model or newer) or iPad that runs on the iOS 16 operating system or newer. Check with your device manufacturer to see if it is compatible with iOS 16.
- a FreeAgent account. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up here.
- a connection to the internet. Everything you do on the iOS mobile app will be reflected in your FreeAgent account on the desktop version immediately.
To maintain the highest levels of security and continue to improve FreeAgent, we’ll be removing support for iOS 15 and below on 3rd June 2024. In order to download and update the FreeAgent mobile app after this date, you’ll need to use a device that supports iOS 16 or newer.
To get started, download the FreeAgent mobile app for free from the App Store. You’ll need your FreeAgent login details to hand in order to access your account once you’ve downloaded the mobile app.

To use the FreeAgent mobile app on an Android device you need to have:
- a device running the Android 9 (Pie) version of the Android operating system or newer. Check with your device manufacturer to see if it is compatible with Android 9 (Pie).
- a FreeAgent account. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up here.
- a connection to the internet. Everything you do on the Android mobile app will be reflected in your FreeAgent account on the desktop version immediately.
