How to log in to the FreeAgent mobile app on an iOS device using Touch ID or Face ID

This article explains how to use Touch ID or Face ID to log in to the FreeAgent mobile app on an iOS device.

Before you get started

The option to log in to the FreeAgent mobile app via Touch ID or Face ID is available for any iPhone 5S model or newer. In order to use this feature, you must first enable Touch ID or Face ID on your device before following the steps outlined below.

How to activate Touch ID or Face ID in the FreeAgent mobile app

To activate Touch ID or Face ID in the FreeAgent mobile app, navigate to the ‘Settings’ drop-down menu in the top-left corner and select ‘Security’.

Tick the ‘Use Touch ID’ or ‘Use Face ID’ option.

A prompt will appear to ask if you want to allow FreeAgent to use Touch ID or Face ID. Select ‘OK’.

A ‘Lock after’ option will then appear. Select how soon you would like the FreeAgent mobile app to lock after you switch to another app or after your screen becomes inactive. The default setting is ‘Immediately’.

How to deactivate Touch ID or Face ID in the FreeAgent mobile app

To deactivate Touch ID or Face ID, navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu in the top-left corner of the FreeAgent mobile app and select ‘Security’. Untick the Touch ID or Face ID option.

Once you’ve done this, you’ll be prompted to enter the email address and password associated with your FreeAgent account whenever you log in to the FreeAgent mobile app.
