Switch from an Apple subscription to a FreeAgent subscription

This article explains how to switch from an Apple subscription (a FreeAgent subscription that you created via the Apple App Store) to a direct FreeAgent subscription.

To enable you to benefit from a subsidised account via NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank or Mettle, your FreeAgent account will initially need to be removed from Apple and over to a direct Free Trial.

1. Cancel the auto-renewal of your Apple subscription

Begin by logging in to the FreeAgent mobile app using either your FreeAgent login details or Touch ID/Face ID. Select 'Settings' and then 'Subscription'. Next, tap 'Manage Subscriptions' and follow the steps for cancelling the automatic renewal of your Apple subscription.

2. Contact FreeAgent’s Support team

Once you have cancelled the auto-renewal of the Apple subscription, contact our Support team and we'll then switch your account from an Apple subscription over to a temporary Free Trial period.

When contacting the Support team, please ensure that support access is enabled on your account and provide a support code.
