Access your FreeAgent subscription invoices

This article explains how to access the monthly or annual invoices for your FreeAgent subscription.

Please note that you’ll need full (level 8) access to your FreeAgent account to be able to view subscription invoices.

Begin by selecting your company name at the top-right of the screen and selecting ‘Billing’ from the drop-down menu.

You’ll see a list of all your subscription invoices under ‘Invoice History’.

If you subscribed to FreeAgent via the Apple App Store, your invoices will be listed within the Billing section of your account but you should receive an email from Apple directly with an attached invoice from them.

Select the date of the relevant invoice to view the invoice for that time period.

To download a copy of the invoice, select ‘Save As PDF’ in the top-right.

Subscription invoice emails

A PDF copy of each invoice is emailed to the billing email address on the payment date. To change the billing email address, select ‘Edit Subscription’ at the bottom of the ‘My Subscription’ section in the ‘Billing’ area.

After making the relevant changes, select ‘Update my details’ to complete the process. Find out more about how to edit your FreeAgent subscription.

Why can’t I see subscription invoices listed in my account?

You won’t see any subscription invoices listed in the Billing section in any of these scenarios:

Your FreeAgent account is provided by your bank

If your FreeAgent account is provided by NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Ulster Bank or Mettle, you won’t see any subscription invoices listed in the Billing section as your account will be provided free of charge.

Your FreeAgent account is provided by your accountant

If your FreeAgent account is provided by your accountant, you won’t see any subscription invoices listed in the Billing section as your accountant will handle the billing directly.

Your FreeAgent account is provided by MyBusinessWorks

If your FreeAgent account has been provided as part of the MyBusinessWorks package, you won’t see any subscription invoices listed in the Billing section as the billing for your account will be handled by the MyBusinessWorks team.
